In the 21st century of the U.S. we have many different varieties of piercing that are more for aesthetics and enhancing our beauty by using jewelry/piercings. The most common piercing that Americans have is the ear piercing. Parents usually have there kids ears pierced at a young age or they have a certain age for them to be able to get there ears pierced. It is not just amongst girls many men also get there ears pierced. Their are many different varieties from the average ear piercings to tunnel earring that require your ear lobes to be stretch out.Teens between the ages 16-18 tend to develop the urge to get the belly button pierced. Teens go off with out their parents permission to get done because it is something they really want. The are so many different piercing designs that come in different colors, shapes, forms, and have different locations. In the U.S. we just find piercings a very pretty accessory that humans can decorate there body with.
